The 16 teams for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup have been confirmed after the conclusion of the qualifiers across four competition zones from March 11 to 17.

Prior to the qualifiers, host Germany and continental champions Australia, Belgium, Nigeria and the United States had already ensured their places in the global showpiece in Berlin from September 4 to 13.
In China's central city of Wuhan, China finished the qualifying campaign with a win-loss record of 4-1, sitting second in the group behind Belgium and qualifying for the World Cup along with Mali and the Czech Republic.
Other qualified teams are Hungary, Türkiye, Japan, France, South Korea, Italy, Spain and Puerto Rico.
The draw will be held in Berlin on April 21.
