Global sci-tech leaders to attend think tank forum in Beijing

The 2026 Global High-Level Think Tank Forum for Science and Technology Innovation, a parallel event of the Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum), will be held in Beijing on March 27.

Bringing together scientists and think tank leaders from countries including China, the United States, Germany and Belgium, participants will focus on topics such as quantum technology, embodied intelligence, scientific talent and finance.

The forum will feature a welcome ceremony for new members of the ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance, which now comprises a total of 102 institutions across 19 countries and regions. It will also include the launch of three new innovation centers and the signing of several strategic agreements.

Meanwhile, a series of international research publications will be released, highlighting sustainable innovation and international cooperation strategies.

The forum is jointly hosted by China's Ministry of Science and Technology and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, and is co-organized by the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology and other institutions.
