Minnesota United said Monday that Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez was recovering under medical supervision after suffering dehydration.
The 34-year-old was hospitalized after playing 63 minutes in Colombia's 3-1 friendly loss to France at Northwest Stadium in Maryland on March 29.
Minnesota said the former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich playmaker reported to training on Monday and participated in a "supervised return-to-activity" session.
"His reintegration into full team training will follow the protocols established by the club's medical department and will be guided entirely by his clinical progress," the club said.
Rodriguez has made two appearances for Minnesota since joining the club on a free transfer in early February.
