Rio de Janeiro to host 2026 FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final

FIBA on Wednesday confirmed that the 15th edition of the 2026 FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final will be staged in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from December 12 to 13.

Tipping off in Utsunomiya, Japan, from April 25 to 26, the World Tour will travel around urban locations across four continents before the Rio finale.

"We are thrilled that we can look forward to signing off another successful FIBA 3x3 World Tour in real style, in such an iconic and box-office location like Rio de Janeiro," said FIBA 3x3 Managing Director Alex Sanchez.

"The passion for 3x3 basketball in Brazil is renowned and one of the most intense you can ever experience, so we already know this will contribute to an amazing festival feel and one that will make it another FIBA 3x3 World Tour to remember," he added.

Marcelo Sousa, the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB) president, stated: "Hosting this event marks the most significant moment for 3x3 basketball in Brazil in the past decades."
