China has officially launched its newest pilot free trade zone (FTZ) in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. As the country's 23rd pilot FTZ, it is strategically positioned to become a key hub for trade with Mongolia, Russia, and beyond. The zone will focus on innovative border trade, stronger international logistics services, and a range of other forward-looking initiatives.
