Russia strikes 138 Ukrainian targets: Defense ministry

Russia said Thursday it struck 138 energy infrastructure facilities supporting Ukrainian military operations, and Ukrainian military deployment sites in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Russia's air defense systems shot down 418 Ukrainian drones and 10 precision-guided bombs, said the defense ministry.

In Russia's Samara Oblast, one person was killed and several others wounded as a result of a Ukrainian attack on an enterprise in Novokuybyshevsk and a residential building, Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said on his Telegram channel on the same day.

Local authorities said that some classes in the region's schools have been postponed. Children who were already at school during the attacks have been moved to shelters. Kindergartens were reportedly closed and will not reopen until the air alert ends.
