By developing proprietary machinery, the town produces high-value goods such as straws and tableware, raising the total utilization rate of raw bamboo from 65% to 85%. From harvesting edible shoots to converting processing residues into charcoal fuel, Nijiangkou maximizes the potential of every stalk, supporting an industry that surpassed US $76 billion in China in 2025.
