Editor's note: The "Plateau Silk Road, Glory of Qutan — Qinghai Silk Road Cultural Relics and Qutan Temple Murals Art Exhibition" is now open at the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum in Beijing, also known as the China National Arts and Crafts Museum.

Through murals, relics, documents and visual media, the exhibition explores the historical significance of Qinghai and Qutan Temple as vital bridges for cultural exchange between the Han and Tibetan peoples, and the long history of unity, mutual assistance and harmonious coexistence among China's ethnic groups.

The organizers said they hope the exhibition's artistic and historical richness will deepen public appreciation for this cultural heritage and inspire a commitment to preserving it. The exhibition runs through Aug. 31.
