6 dead in southwest China road accident

Six people were killed after a van collided with a truck in southwest China's Sichuan province on Sunday morning, local authorities said.

The van, carrying six people, collided with a truck. Three people died at the scene, while the other three passed away despite emergency medical treatment.

The accident occurred on a section of national highway linking Jiuzhaigou County in Sichuan and Wenxian County in neighboring Gansu province.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
