当日是2026年高考第一天,在云南丽江华坪女子高中,69岁的张桂梅校长依旧坚守送考一线,为即将踏入考场的毕业生送去祝福与叮嘱。自云南丽江华坪女子高中的学生2011年首次参加高考以来,张桂梅校长已连续送考16年。
This year's national college entrance exam, also known as the gaokao, kicked off on Sunday nationwide. At the Huaping Senior High School for Girls, 69-year-old Zhang Guimei, the principal of the school, has seen examinees off for the college entrance exam for 16 consecutive years since the school's first group of graduates took the exam in 2011.
张桂梅坚守滇西深贫山区教育事业数十年,推动创建了中国第一所免费女子高中,迄今帮助2000多名贫困女孩圆梦大学,创造了大山里的“教育奇迹”。
Zhang, the principal of a girls' school in Yunnan's mountainous areas, has been dedicated to helping rural girls improve their lives and chase their dreams through education and knowledge.
