Other players selected for the Chinese men's team include Lin Shidong, Wen Ruibo, Xiang Peng and Huang Youzheng, while the women's team also includes Wang Manyu, Chen Yi, Kuai Man and Fan Shuhan.
Lin will also compete in the men's singles, mixed doubles with Kuai and men's doubles with Wen.
Wang Manyu will also feature in the women's singles and women's doubles with Kuai.
China will also send Huang and Xiang to the men's doubles, and Chen and Fan to the women's doubles.
Xiang and Fan earned their spots by winning the men's and women's team trials.
The CTTA said the singles and doubles rosters were confirmed based on players' world rankings, performances in major events and past results against main rivals from other teams.
"Our participation in the Asian Games follows an Olympic-focused approach with an emphasis on competitive testing. As the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games adds doubles and mixed team events, we finalized our lineups for individual competitions through comprehensive evaluations," said chief coach Qin Zhijian.
The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games will be held from September 19 to October 4, with the table tennis competition scheduled for September 20-28.
