Camellia beauty products earn recommendation from Embassy of Nigeria in China

The Camellia Oleifera beauty and skincare series from Changshan county, Zhejiang province, has been designated as a recommended product by the Embassy of Nigeria in China. 

The announcement was made during an economic, trade, and cultural exchange event held at the embassy this May. 

The product line is backed by scientific support from the Camellia Oleifera Industry Joint Research Center, an initiative co-established by Zhejiang University and Changshan county.

The research center achieved a technical breakthrough in high-purity extraction. This proprietary technology efficiently separates powerful active skincare ingredients from local camellia oil, while preserving their natural anti-aging and anti-wrinkle efficacy. 

The transformation of these laboratory achievements into a commercial brand highlights the strength of ’the deep integration of industry, university, and research entities. 

By leveraging Changshan's rich camellia resources, the research center has worked with corporate partners to continuously refine formulas and maintain strict quality testing standards.

The embassy recommendation accelerates the upgrading of the entire Changshan camellia oil supply chain and offers a replicable roadmap for developing distinct, high-value regional industries across the country, said a local official from Changshan.
