As temperatures soar, the stir-frying, drying, and packaging machines are running at full capacity at the stir-fried rice workshops across Longgang, Wenzhou city. They are the engines behind intangible cultural heritage delicacies like the Lupu stir-fried rice.

The booming industry has put immense pressure on the local power supply. During the peak summer season, heavy-duty processing equipment operates simultaneously for extended periods, resulting in high electricity loads.

"Our roasting equipment runs for over half a day at a time, and the power cannot be interrupted for a single second," a workshop owner said.

To address the surging needs for stale power supply, the State Grid Wenzhou Electric Power Supply Company has taken a proactive approach, designing power supply mechanisms tailored to each workshop. Technicians visited workshops to inspect distribution boxes, heavy-duty circuits, and leakage protection devices, eliminating risks like worn insulation and irregular wiring caused by summer heat. They also shared energy-saving tips and established a fast-response mechanism for potential power faults.

Beyond seasonal checks, the power company is focusing on long-term support by analyzing the workshops' electricity needs to dynamically optimize power measures, helping to underpin the development of the city's cultural heritage.
