China's imports from Africa reached 193.8 billion yuan (US$28.61 billion) in May and June, up 23.5% year on year, after China expanded its zero-tariff treatment on May 1 to cover all 53 African countries with which it has diplomatic ties, a Ministry of Commerce official said Thursday.
