World Aquatics unveils 2027 international diving events calendar

World Aquatics has unveiled the first batch of recognized international diving events for 2027, with four competitions confirmed in Britain, Spain, Germany and Canada ahead of the 2027 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest.

According to the calendar, the Aquatics GB Diving International will be held in Sheffield from February 4 to 7, followed by the Madrid International Diving Meet in the Spanish capital from April 1 to 4.

The 68th International Diver's Day is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Rostock, Germany, while the Canada Cup of Diving will take place in Windsor from April 15 to 18.

World Aquatics said the recognized events form a key part of the international diving pathway, providing athletes with structured competition opportunities under its regulations while allowing more member associations to stage events in their home countries and regions.

Further recognized events for the remainder of the 2027 calendar will be announced in the coming months.

World Aquatics President Husain Al Musallam welcomed the opening of the 2027 calendar.

"I'm delighted to see World Aquatics' National Federations continuing to invest in these Diving Recognized Events for the 2027 season," Al Musallam said. "Events like these give athletes vital international experience and help widen access to the sport across our membership."

The World Aquatics Diving World Cup will also feature stops in Canada and Mexico before the Super Final in China.

The 2027 World Aquatics Championships will be held in Budapest, Hungary, with the diving events scheduled from June 26 to July 4.
