Real Madrid's Brahim happy to work with Mourinho

Real Madrid's Moroccan international forward Brahim Diaz shared his thoughts on Wednesday about what it is like to work under coach Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho returned to the club for his second spell in charge at the start of the summer, following a trophyless season for Real Madrid.

The Portuguese tactician is known for being a demanding taskmaster, but Brahim has expressed satisfaction with the work carried out so far.

"It's going very well because both he and his staff are very well-prepared," he said in an interview with Real Madrid TV.

"We already know what Mourinho is, everything he has won, and we want to keep winning with him," said the forward.

He went on to explain that Mourinho expects his players to be intense, to showcase individual quality, and to make the difference, but "ultimately, hard work is what matters most."

Brahim also noted that the training sessions have been "very physical, with a lot of effort and intensity," which are "helping us a lot to prepare for the season."

With Bernardo Silva arriving on a free transfer and the potential addition of Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, competition for a starting spot is expected to intensify. However, Brahim remained unfazed, insisting he is "very happy and very eager to keep enjoying myself on the pitch."

"We have to keep moving forward, enjoying, and taking the positives from everything," he concluded.
