Wu Lei scored twice as Shanghai Port came from behind to beat Qingdao Hainiu 2-1 as the 24th round of the Chinese Super League concluded on Sunday.

Hainiu took the lead in the 16th minute when Zhang Linpeng failed to clear a long pass, allowing Carlos Strandberg to race through and beat the goalkeeper one-on-one.

Shanghai Port equalized just before halftime as Yang Xi's cross found Wu, who tapped home from close range.

Wu completed the comeback from the penalty spot in the 67th minute after Yang was brought down in the area. The defeat extended Hainiu's winless run to seven matches.

Elsewhere, Liaoning Tieren staged a remarkable comeback from 4-1 down to earn a 4-4 draw at home to Henan FC.

Brazilian striker Gustavo scored a 16-minute hat trick as Henan opened up a three-goal lead by the hour mark, but Zang Yifeng pulled one back three minutes later after Liaoning won possession.

18-year-old Zhang Hongfu then scored his first CSL goal to further reduce the deficit before Takahiro Kunimoto converted a last-minute penalty to complete the comeback.

In Sunday's other match, Dalian Yingbo claimed a 1-0 away win over Chongqing Tonglianglong.

On Saturday, league leader Chengdu Rongcheng suffered a dramatic 5-4 home defeat to Shanghai Shenhua, while Wuhan Three Towns and Tianjin Jinmen Tiger played out a goalless draw.

Beijing Guoan was held to a 3-3 draw at home by Yunnan Yukun, while 10-man Qingdao West Coast beat 10-man Shandong Taishan 2-0.
