Uruguay and India will meet in a friendly during the next FIFA international window, the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) said on Friday.
The match will be played in Kolkata on October 6 and will be Uruguay's third match under new manager Diego Forlan, the AUF said on social media.
The AUF had already confirmed away friendlies against Japan and South Korea in late September.
Former Uruguay striker Forlan was appointed interim manager of the Celeste earlier this month. The 47-year-old succeeds Marcelo Bielsa, who departed after the team's failure to reach the knockout stage of this year's FIFA World Cup.
Forlan, who ended his playing career in 2019, is also in charge of Uruguay's under-20 team.
