Gorosito leaves San Lorenzo after seven matches

San Lorenzo sacked manager Nestor Gorosito on Tuesday, less than two months after he took charge of the club for a second time.

The Buenos Aires side announced the decision in a brief message on social media, without naming a replacement.

It followed a 1-0 away defeat to Instituto Cordoba, a result that left the Buenos Aires club 14th in Zone A of Argentina's Clausura standings.

Gorosito, who was also San Lorenzo's manager in 2003 and 2004, led the club to two wins, a draw and four losses after taking charge on July 3.

San Lorenzo is one of Argentina's most traditional clubs, having won 15 top flight titles and a Copa Libertadores crown in its 118-year history.
