The Beijing Xenotransplantation Project Launch and Academic Exchange Conference was held in Beijing on October 17 and 18. Experts and scholars, medical institutions and industry representatives from China and abroad gathered to jointly advance breakthroughs in frontier xenotransplantation technologies and promote clinical and industrial translation.

During the conference, a series of events were held, including the launch of the Applied Research Project on Xenogeneic Liver for the Treatment of End-Stage Liver Disease, the unveiling of the International Xenotransplantation Research Institute, the launch of the DPF (designated pathogen-free) Medical Donor Pig Breeding Platform in Zhuozhou, Hebei province, and the signing of an international cooperation agreement between Beijing ClonOrgan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands.

From project launches and platform unveilings to model innovation and industrial implementation, Beijing's xenotransplantation sector has achieved a full-chain leap from scientific research to clinical translation and industrialization, entering a new stage in which clinical translation and industrialization advance in parallel.
