Pink muhly grass blankets hills in Chongqing

Kaizhi Peak Scenic Area in Dianjiang county, southwest China's Chongqing municipality, is drawing visitors with its seasonal display of pink muhly grass, which blankets the hills in soft shades of pink each autumn.

As temperatures cool, the grass sweeps across the hillsides in waves. Its soft, feathery plumes sway in the breeze, creating a landscape reminiscent of Monet's paintings.

Visitors can stroll along trails that wind through the fields, where the pink blooms stretch across the hills, sometimes shrouded in mist. The fields also offer scenic spots for photography, from pathways through the blooms to hillside viewing platforms.
