Cold storage at a seafood processor near Pacao fishing port in Longgang, Wenzhou, is running around the clock this autumn. State Grid Wenzhou Electric Power Supply Company is working to keep it that way.

Staff visited Wenzhou Golden Coast Food Co. Ltd. to inspect its electrical equipment, part of an effort to protect production during the busiest months of the fishing year.

The company sorts, processes, and freezes the catch and stores finished goods. With the fishing season at its height, fresh hauls are pouring in for sorting and cold storage. Production lines, large freezers, and ventilation systems are running at full capacity.

To head off problems, the utility company mapped the plant's electrical layout and load patterns and drew up a service plan tailored to the site. Crews have conducted inspection on the distribution room, freezers, and workshops with infrared thermal imagers, checking high- and low-voltage cabinets, refrigeration supply circuits, and warehouse lighting and ventilation lines.

They looked for overheating units, aging insulation, damp-related leakage, and oxidized connectors to keep power supply stable and prevent voltage swings and tripping.

The utility company said it will set up regular inspections for cold-chain, warehousing, and seafood-processing customers, track their loads as they change, and provide targeted help with hazard remediation, equipment operation, and energy saving.
