China Finals of WORLD MODEL 2025 kick off in Ordos

On July 17, China Finals of WORLD MODEL 2025 opened in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, aiming to build an international exchange platform for the modeling industry and promote the integrated development of the fashion industry with Ordos' distinctive cashmere sector. A total of 120 contestants from 30 provinces across China gathered in Ordos to compete in the prestigious event.  

The competition featured four segments: logo wear, youthful fashion, swimwear, and evening wear, evaluating the contestants' professional skills in brand interpretation, personal expression, physique, and overall charisma. Through fashion apparel showcases and creative themed runway walks, the participants demonstrated their professionalism and individual charm in a comprehensive manner.  

Established in 1994, WORLD MODEL is one of the world’s top three modeling skill competitions, renowned for its high influence and authority in the international fashion industry. As a key component of the global event, the China Finals not only serve as a competitive platform for the contestants' professional abilities but also highlight Ordos' dynamic development in the cultural and creative sectors by merging fashion with local industry.  

This year’s competition integrates an award ceremony with a cashmere exhibition, allowing the audience to not only enjoy the models' stunning performances but also gain an in-depth understanding of the unique appeal of Ordos' cashmere industry. From July 18 to 19, the practical competition rounds will take place, culminating in the selection of the champion, runner-up, second runner-up, and the Best Popularity Award.
