On Oct. 28, the XR Future Cinema, jointly launched by Ordos Ejin Horo International Airport and Inner Mongolia Film Group Co., Ltd., officially opened in the departure hall of Terminal 2. As the airport's first immersive experience venue featuring XR (Extended Reality) technology, it offers travelers a novel way to kill time during waits, injecting new vitality into airport commerce with its cutting-edge, experiential setting.

Ordos Ejin Horo International Airport is a key transportation hub for the city. Amid rapid regional economic development and expanding international exchanges, consistent growth in passenger traffic is creating growing demand for improved service quality, a stronger brand image, and more diversified offerings from the airport.
To enhance the traveler's journey, boost the region's appeal, and sharpen the airport's competitive edge in response to passengers' increasingly diverse needs, Inner Mongolia Film Group — in collaboration with Xi'an Daqian Mirage Technology Co., Ltd. and Ordos Airport Management Group Co., Ltd. — has brought together film art, state-of-the-art XR technology, and Chinese cultural heritage to create an innovative platform for cultural exhibition and interactive experiences.

Going forward, with ongoing updates to its experiential content and continuous service system improvements, the XR Future Cinema is poised to become a must-visit spot for social media users, significantly contributing to elevated airport service quality and greater passenger satisfaction.
