On March 2 and 3, 2026, the Kanbashi district of Ordos City in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region came alive with a spectacular New Year parade. Featuring 16 mobile and eight static performance groups from Ordos and ten other regions across China, the event brought together over 1,000 performers. The two-kilometer parade route connected three main performance hubs, drawing a crowd of 150,000 spectators.

The parade was a vibrant fusion of intangible cultural heritage and traditional New Year celebrations, showcasing elements not only from Inner Mongolia but also from provinces including Shaanxi, Shanxi, Guangdong, Guizhou, and Hebei.
