Ordos wins national AI and Green Energy City award

Ordos was honored with the national "AI+ Green Energy Engine City" award at the 14th Internet Security Conference, or ISC. AI 2026, which opened in Beijing on June 24.

The recognition was announced during the release of the 2026 City AI Innovation Index. Ordos received the award for its abundant green energy resources, well-developed zero-carbon computing infrastructure, deep integration of digital and intelligent industries, and favorable business environment.

Held at the China National Convention Center, this year's conference focused on the theme "Agents Reshape Security." It brought together leading experts and representatives from cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, computing power, scientific research, and major industry players to discuss frontier topics such as agent technology innovation, AI security governance, and the low-carbon transformation of digital industries.

Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone, as the city's core platform for the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and green computing industries, played a key role in supporting the city's recognition. The zone has demonstrated strong capabilities and industrial advantages in zero-carbon intelligent computing and green AI.

The national-level honor further strengthens the reputation of Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone as a hub for "zero-carbon intelligent computing and green AI," highlighting its growing role in advancing Ordos' digital and green transformation.
