The Spanish naval training vessel, Juan Sebastian De Elcano, under
the command of Captain Santiago Bolibar Pineiro, arrived in
Shanghai Saturday morning for a five-day visit.
Senior Colonel Jiang Zhongliang, deputy chief-of-staff of Shanghai
Naval Base, held a welcome ceremony.
After the arrival, Senior Colonel Jiang Weilie and Shanghai Vice
Mayor Feng Guoqin met with the officers.
During their stay in Shanghai, the officers will see a Chinese
missile frigate, the city of Shanghai and will play football
matches with Chinese seamen.
