A committee of experts on serious epidemic diseases and other
public health emergencies was set up in Beijing
Friday.
Officials of Beijing Municipal Health Bureau said these experts
will provide the latest information and research results of serious
infectious diseases from abroad and implement special measures for
disease control in Beijing.
These experts will also be sent to areas of disease outbreak to
conduct appraisal and warn the public when Beijing is threatened by
public health emergencies.
