Adjust font size:

China and Canada will work together to construct a wind power electricity generating station in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in May.

The power station will be built in Erenhot, which is famous for wind energy resources. It is also expected to be the largest wind power facility in Asia.

Covering an area of 200 square kilometers, the station is expected to generate over one million kilowatts of power and be put into operation before the 2008 Olympic Games.
