Three Die in Beijing Construction Site Accident

Three people were killed and 21 others injured when scaffolding at a construction site in central Beijing collapsed on Monday night.

The accident took place at about 10:10 PM yesterday at the site of the No.4 building, part of the ongoing Xixi Project in Xidan, one of the most bustling business districts in downtown Beijing.

All the victims have been identified as construction workers.

Investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
