Food Poisoning: 30 Students Ill in Heilongjiang

Over 30 students were hospitalized on Friday after coming down with suspected food poisoning at a primary school in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, three of them remain in hospital.

 

The pupils, all from a local school in Harbin, Heilongjiang's capital city, developed stomachache and diarrhea on Friday afternoon, with some afflicted by nausea and vomiting, according to local sources.

 

All the children patients had lunch at the same dinning hall in the school.

 

Last week, food poisoning has killed one girl and sickened another 459 students in the Chinese provinces of Heilongjiang, Shaanxi and Hubei.
