China's Weather to Bring North, South Divide
Adjust font size:

China's weather is set to create a north-south divide in the next three days with most of the north turning sunny and rain falling in parts of the south.

As the cold front leaves China, most of the north will be fine and clear, with less wind and rising temperatures, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) forecast on Sunday.

Drizzle or showers were possible in eastern parts of southwest China, south of the Yangtze River and south China. Some parts would expect moderate rainfall, said the administration.

Snow will cover the west of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in the next three days and parts of southwest Tibet can expect moderate to heavy snow.
