Shanghai Expects 6.6m Foreign Tourist 2007

Shanghai is expected to welcome 6.6 million foreign tourists this year, a rise of 10 percent from last year's, said the Shanghai Tourism Administrative Commission at its annual planning meeting yesterday.

 

 

The commission will start promoting the city's travel resources this year, along with other provinces in the Yangtze River Delta, to attract more tourists during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2010 World Expo, said the commission.
