Maturing through struggles

After the August 7th Meeting, the Party initiated many armed uprising. In September 1927, Mao Zedong and the Hunan Provincial Party Committee led the Autumn Harvest Uprising at the border of Hunan and Jiangxi. Shown here are people who took part in the uprising gathered in Yan’an in 1937.
