The Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition, also known as CHINA PRINT, is a quadrennial event launched in 1984. It is the earliest and largest printing trade fair in China, sponsored by the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China and China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation. It became the first UFI member from China in 1988. The 2013 CHINA PRINT, the eighth edition of its kind, has more than 120,000 square meters of exhibition area, expected to receive over 160,000 visitors.

In order to meet the demands of China's rapid development, CHINA PRINT's sister show, The 1st International Printing Technology Exhibition of China (Guangdong), also known as PRINT CHINA, was held in Dongguan city in 2007. With almost 30 years of development, CHINA PRINT and PRINT CHINA have become major printing shows in the world.

The 2013 CHINA PRINT will showcase the new technologies and new products of the world's printing industry in an all-round way, and provide a platform for industrial professionals and experts from around the world to discuss various topics regarding the development of the printing industry in their own countries.

Exhibition categories include prepress and pre-media, print, post-press and paper converting, paper and substrates, inks and consumables, components and infrastructure, services and software, and others. The FORUM-PI 2013 will be held during the exhibition, with the leaders from printing organizations in many countries invited to share their views on the further development of the global printing industry. In addition, more than 50 forums, seminars, report meetings and other promotion briefings will be held for the sharing of information and expertise.
