About Liu Jie:

Born on Feb. 18, 1968, Chinese director Liu Jie won the award for Best Director at the 13th Shanghai International Film Festival in 2010. His best-known films include "Courthouse on Horseback" in 2006, "Deep in the Clouds" in 2010 and "Young Style" in 2013.
