Adjust font size:

Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi left on Monday, heading for Washington to attend the second round of the China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue on May 22 and 23 as special envoy of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

Wu and US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson will co-chair the dialogue.

China and the United States held their first strategic economic dialogue last December. The dialogue mechanism has already become an important platform for the two nations to discuss long-term strategic and economic issues.
