Chinese shares open lower on Friday

Chinese shares opened slightly lower on Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.34 percent to open at 3,309.38 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.39 percent to 13,645.7 points at the opening.
