The 2010 Hangzhou Outdoor & Leisure Fair opened today in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in East China.
Held in the Hangzhou Peace Exhibition Center, the four-day fair offers numerous opportunities for participants to share the latest trends and developments in outdoor living products.
Spanning over 12,000 sq.m., the exhibition has 550 booths used by 150 enterprises from the Chinese mainland, Australia, the U.S., etc, to showcase a wide range of outdoor living products, garden decorations and sporting goods including tents, hammocks, camping equipment and golf products.
An estimated 3,000 professional buyers from home and abroad are expected to attend the fair, along with an estimated 20,000 or more general visitors.
The exhibition will also hold activities including industry forums to help promote business tie-ups.
Jointly organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industrial Products & Arts-Craft and the Hangzhou municipal government, the fair brings together famous outdoor leisure product manufacturers and famous overseas brands.

China is the production hub of the world's outdoor and leisure products, with Zhejiang alone accounting for 18 percent of the world's output of related products.
China's export of outdoor furniture and other leisure products reached US$39.5 billion in 2009 which accounted 24.2 percent of total worldwide exports worth US$163.1 billion.
With the rising living standards in China, more and more people are choosing self-drive tours and camping as an important leisure activity, offering big opportunities for the outdoor leisure industry.
