China cuts gasoline, diesel prices

China will cut gasoline prices by 230 yuan (33.7 U.S. dollars) per tonne and reduce diesel prices by 220 yuan per tonne from Tuesday, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced Monday.

The government will raise benchmark prices for domestically-produced onshore gas by 0.23 yuan per cubic meter, according to the NDRC.
