 China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, rose 3.1 percent year on year in May, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) announced Friday. The Producer Price Index (PPI) grew 7.1 percent year on year in May, said the NBS. [ Full article ]
