Chinese equities continued early losses and finished the Monday morning session lower, dragged down by heavyweights.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.61 percent to close at 2,537.23 after swinging around the 2,550-point mark for at least three times.
The Shenzhen Component Index slid 0.62 percent to close at 10,042.1.
