The Chinese and World Bank cooperation in the past three decades has registered fruitful win-win results, Zhu Guangyao, China's vice finance minister, told Xinhua on Friday.

"World Bank's funding and expertise have provided assistance to China's poverty-reduction and growth, while China's development experience has also contributed to the global development," Zhu said after a meeting with World Bank President Robert B. Zoellick during the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank.

The World Bank chief gave credit to China's fast economic growth in recent years, saying it is an important force in the global recovery and its experience is also conducive to other economies.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of China-World Bank cooperation.

The annual meetings of the IMF and World Bank are scheduled to run in Washington D.C. from October 8 to 10.
