Commercial Aircraft Corp of China disclosed Sunday that it plans to finalize the initial orders for its C919 jumbo jets at Airshow China in Zhuhai, China Business News reported today.

Aircraft C919 is China's first large commercial airliner. C919 is scheduled to make its first test flight in 2014 and enter into service in 2016.

Comac said it will sign purchase agreements with all first batch buyers together at the Zhuhai air show, which opens tomorrow.

Comac did not provide a detailed buyers list. Rumors say that China's top three state-owned airline companies, AirChina, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines, are all potential buyers.

China's business press carried the story above on Monday. China.org.cn has not checked the stories and does not vouch for their accuracy.
