China Telecom, RIM, launch BlackBerry 9630 in China

China Telecom and Canada's Research In Motion (RIM) announced in Beijing on Wednesday the launch of the BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphone, another Blackberry 3G smartphone that follows the two companies' jointly launched BlackBerry 9530.
With world phone capability on 3G networks, China Telecom's BlackBerry 9630 endeavors to provide an efficient phone for businesses with security features that appeal to large companies.
The price of a set of BlackBerry 9630s is 5,680 yuan ($853), and the customers may enjoy a more favorable price for a package deal, with subsidies from China Telecom.
