Senior managers from China Unicom are to have talks with Apple in Hong Kong on Friday on the details of a deal to introduce the 3G iPad into China. The talks are expected to cover pricing and sales policy for the 3G iPad, according to an insider.

Sina Tech reported that, as with the iPhone 4, the 3G iPad will be sold either bundled with a promotion offered by China Unicom, or in a device-only deal.

According to the China Compulsory Certification Online Service Center, the 3G iPad has already received its certification.

A Wi-Fi version of the iPad was launched on the Chinese mainland on September 17.

China's business press carried the story above on Friday. China.org.cn has not checked the stories and does not vouch for their accuracy.
