China's auto maker BYD Co., Ltd. presented its "Three Green Dreams" strategy on Monday at the 2011 North America International Auto Show (NAIAS).

BYD's "Three Green Dreams" focuses on renewable energy generation, environmentally-friendly energy storage, efficient energy consumption and electric vehicles.

The two-week 2011 NAIAS kicked off on Monday in Detroit, the U.S. auto city, with more than 40 global top-notch auto brands showcasing their latest products and technology.

BYD's pure-electric vehicle -- the 2012 Year Model e6 Premier and the brand-new dual mode electric SUV -- the S6DM, made their world premieres on Monday.

This is BYD's fourth consecutive appearance in Detroit for the NAIAS. BYD is one of the fastest-growing Chinese auto manufacturers and a forerunner in green energy auto sector.
