Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong

The gold price in Hong Kong went up 12 HK dollars to open at 13,930 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,504.7 U.S. dollars, up 1.3 U.S. dollars a troy ounce at latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.771 HK dollars.
