A report released last week by Fortune magazine gave its picks of the best companies to work for in China this year. Chinese e-commerce giant 360buy.com was among the select group of employers chosen by editors.

360buy.com guarantees each fresh college graduate that comes to the firm an annual salary of 100,000 yuan (US$15,660) and a shareholding stake in the company. New staff also enjoy half a year of training after they enter the company before they start work, according to the report.

Managers at the firm are eligible to enroll in the EMBA at the China Europe International Business School. But employees don't have to worry about burdensome student loans – the company picks up the bill, which runs almost 500,000 yuan (US$78,295) per student.

Towers Watson, a global consulting firm, forecasts that salaries in most industries in China will rise by 8 to 10 percent in 2011over last year.

The survey also showed companies that have improved employee loyalty over the last three years have seen profits rise 5.75 percent.

China's business press carried the story above on Monday.
