Chinese computer maker Lenovo will recall around 12,338 all-in-one computers in the Chinese mainland due to defects with the power supply system, China's top quality watchdog announced Friday.

The products to be recalled are of the ThinkCentre M series, produced between July 1, 2010, and Dec. 6, 2011, said a statement on the website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

The defects may lead to super-heating of the outer casing of the all-in-ones and even fires. Lenovo will offer free replacement of the defective power supply systems so as to solve the problem, according to the statement.
